Christ as King
3.5' x 5' Oil on Canvas This is part of a triptych that has not been completed. This triptych is of an unconventional orientation, as this, the largest piece does not occupy the center, but rather the upper left corner of the entire work. Currently this section is currently finished in its incomplete state, while the other sections are still being worked on, and may, in fact never be finished. Time will tell. The theme is Christ as King, showing an apocalyptic version of the Christ. Bearing a flaming sword, a kingly scepter, hands in benediction and seven stars, this guy knows what he is doing. More symbols are inherent, but I don't really feel like describing them right now. Anyway half the fun of viewing a piece is to figure connections out for yourself. Any questions and I might address specific points. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
